Troubleshooting & FAQs
7.1 Order placed with incorrect information
Need to update an address, patient name, or other order details?
If you need to make any changes to an order (address corrections, patient info updates, etc.), the fastest and cleanest option is to:
- Cancel the order within the 1-hour window, then
- Place a new order with the correct information.
This ensures the updates go through cleanly and avoids delays or fulfillment issues.
7.2 How to Change a Patient’s Date of Birth on an Interpreted Study
Correcting a patient’s date of birth (DOB) is a common post-interpretation update. Here’s how to make the change while keeping the record compliant and up to date:
-
Go to the Patient Profile & open the Patient Detail
-
Edit the Date of Birth and Save
-
Open the interpreted study & change the Interpretation Status back to Started, Pending Interpretation, or Re-sign, depending on your workflow.
-
Click Refresh to update the values.
⚠️ Note: Refreshing will override any manual edits. If you want to preserve manual edits, you’ll need to either:
- Make a copy and re-enter them into the document after refreshing, or
- Manually tweak the Date of Birth directly in the document preview.
-
Re-sign the interpretation (or send it back to the physician for signature).
